Born in Paiporta
(Valencia), he graduated on the trumpet at the
Conservatory of Valencia with Professor D. Leopoldo
Vidal, obtaining the highest qualifications, later
extended his studies with Mr. Pierre Thibaud (professor
of Conservatory of Paris)
He has worked with
almost all the orchestras of the Spanish territory
highlighting his collaborations with the Orchestra of
Valencia, with guest soloist on many occasions, Chamber
Orchestra "Reina Sofia" etc., and international and the
European Orchestra as first trumpet with the prestigious
Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" etc.
As a soloist, has recorded with the pianist Itziar Barredo,
the album
"PLAYING OPERA"
(trumpet & Piano), It is an
immersion in the world of the opera and its objective is
to make known and approach the opera to the public but
from the instrumental point of view through some
fantasies realized by J.B. ARBAN.
His discography has been applauded and awarded by
national and international critics, being awarded the
SILVER MEDAL and recognition as Outstanding Achievement
Work at the Global Music Awards
in the category of "Classical Music".
His repertoire is extensive and
varied, covering all eras, from the Renaissance to
contemporary music.
Has been
invited to give training courses, masterclass and
conferences in various parts of Spain,
highlighting for Conservatories of Bilbao, Gijón,
Logroño, Superior Canarias, Algarve (Portugal), Lisboa, the UNED (distance
university) and the University of Deusto (Vizcaya) among
others.
He
carries out important pedagogical work in the training
of young people within the brass section as a guest in
various orchestras: JONC Young National Orchestra of
Catalonia, Young Orchestra of Soria, JOSCAN Young
Orchestra of Cantabria...
He
has been laureated in
the International Trumpet Competition in Geneva (Switzerland).
In chamber
music he is a member of the prestigious German brass
group "CRESPO BRASS ENSEMBLE" (performing in several
European countries) likewise, he is a founding member of
the brass quintet "A TEMPO DI BRASS" vocal and instrumental
group "TERZETTO XXI" (soprano, trumpet and organ) "IBERIAN
BAROQUE THREE" (2 trumpets and organ) and with the
pianist Anastasia Chernyavskaya forms "RASETKA DÚO"
After
having held the position of principal
trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of
Asturias. He is currently principal trumpet of the
Bilbao Symphony Orchestra.
